Is it better to invest in Apartments or Flats? Or is it better to invest in lands (plots)? Or is it a safe way to start a business and earn from it?? Have you got any knowledge regarding this? And what about investing in shares in DIFX?
Or are there any other best things to invest now and amass a lot of money later? And how about investing in gold? How good is gold market in Dubai? If anyone has any real experience regarding this please let us know. It would be a great help to all of our members.
Dubai is constantly making new buildings. I heard a lot of people invested in flats while the building was being built. They sold it after the building was finished being built. This is when the prices go up. Obviously, the people that invested before it got built made quite a profit from selling it after construction was finished.
I don't know if this is possible, but some people suggest if you have the money, buy land where you can build some sort of getaway resort. Like people (very rich rich people) invest in land in the islands that are being built. Then they rent them out to the wealthy princes all over middle east, who have no value for money, and they make a lot from it. Of course this kind of an investment is not realistic financially for the majority of people.
Investing in real estate always has to be profitable, finally at all places in the world.Dubai is the best place to invest in real estate according to me.That is in case one can spare the amount for and let it be invested for long term.I wish I could spare that kind of cash to invest in real estate(flat or land).
I have just bought a 1 bed apartments in Dubai Sportscity. It is due to be finished in October next year. Just wondering if it is better to sell it on completion or rentit out longterm. Anyone any ideas?

I would suggest that you sell it. Because by end 2009 expectations are that a lot of buildings would be RFS (Ready for Sale / Occupation) which means there is a possibility of demand droping and supply increasing so it could be risky preposition to rent and anticipate some revenue from it. If i was you i would sell and invest in upcomming zones in Dubai
