I don't think you really need to worry about restrictions. The code is probably pretty much the same as in all other places. I haven't been to any in Dubai, but I think it would be the same as any other place, or else what's the point. If you are vising Dubai for the first time, I say go some other place and find something to do that you won't be able to where you live.
Dubai has some laws regarding clubs. according to my friend, they all must close at 3 am, you must be 21 to drink alcohol, 25 to enter a nightclub, and interestingly they are not allowed by law to refuse entrance to anyone, including members only clubs.
