Just been advised that my contract for Dubai is going to have a start date of 22nd Sept, so my wife and I have lots to do in the next few weeks before leaving the UK.

I will be working at DOZ [Dubai Outsource Zone], so if anyone can recommend a nearby residential area, or somewhere with a decent transport link avoiding traffic jams, and where we can find a reasonably priced 2-bedroom appartment [say about 140000AED yearly], I would appreciate any advice. Or am I expecting too much property for too little expense?
