Most of these are local hotels, such as the Emirates Towers. But of course there's the infamous Hilton hotel. They have so much money they are beating all the local hotels in their own city. Thanks for the list, I'm sure it would be helpful to some. I'd prefer to go someplace cheaper though, you get more culture from less expensive places.

You do have a very good point. Expensive hotels are definitely nice and have many facilities but the price tag is usually too high and it is not really worth to spend so much money if the only time you spend in the hotel is only to sleep.
