Do men here dress up traditionally in long white flowing gowns,with a head gear on the top.Or do they like to dress up in the trendy style?

i saw the pics of dubai and found many males dressed in that traditional dress.These people are called sheikhs and are much respected community of dubai.

They only do it in pictures of Dubai to show the culture. But in all reality, there are other people in the city, not just arabs. I think the dress attire for men would be the same no matter where you go, you can probably get away with normal casual attire or formal attire.

From the days of childhood the image of an Arab is this only that a long gown and a head gear.OK well it might be in movies only that we get to see Arabs dressed like this.They are free to dress up as they want casually and formally.

I think this is just from all the movies we watch whenever they show Arabs they show them in the tradiitonal attire. Its the same case everywhere, there are people wearing all kinds of things, although you will see people wearing the gowns more than in your country. But you will also see people wearing normal clothes. There is nothing about it that will shock you.
