Do people in Dubai go in for higher studies,do they pursue business most of the times.As a novice I am not very clear about the concepts.

I think it is the practically the same everywhere. Education opens doors but it is just the first step - the rest depends on your job performance.

What I am inquisitive about is that local people go in for higher studies and they take up jobs of high rank.Dubai being a fast developing country,must be offering good job opportunities to job seekers.Do foreigners fulfill the job vacancies or the locals?

Yes, they have a lot of emphasis on higher education because the government hires highly educated people from foreign countries. There aren't many reputable educational institutions in united arab emirates so most people go overseas to study for higher education and come back to get the job and stay there.
