Most of us going to or working in Dubai are non-Muslims. So how should we cope when we are in a Muslim country like Dubai. What other special considerations are there for non-Muslim women working in Dubai?
well as far as i know dubai has a huge population of foreigners and there is nothing to bother about the culture because in dubai also we feel at home.

Your query is very genuine,I also feel that it must be slightly difficult to cope up with such a culture. You have to cope up with the norms.
i agree that the culture is different from ours but i dont think that we need to take some special consideration because the population contains people from all over the world..
I had to disagree with some of you who take the view that because there is so many foreigners in Dubai, there is no need to take into consideration the fact that Dubai is islamic. Remember that we are guests in Dubai.
You might be right, but certain apprehensions do remain regarding the culture.I do agree lot of people move to this place to seek jobs, but still I personally would not move to this place.
There is no need to be apprehensive . Show the proper respect and decorum to your host country and Dubai will certainly return the courtesy with grace and good humor.
Yes that I am little aware of that Dubai people are cultured and courteous. Yeah that is true that you need to show right amount of respect to their culture.
Mutual respect and understanding is essential to multi-cultural-religious interaction. A moderate amont of give and take will also definitely improve the relationship.
Its not about coping with the muslims. I think if you just respect them you can get along quite well. They do not necessarily discriminate against anyone as it is against the religion. The only problem you may have is that their lifestyle revolves around their religion, so it may be hard to adjust to that. Other than that, just show respect and appreciation for their beliefs.
