Even women in more radical Muslim countries are allowed to work outside of home - Dubai being moderate and pro-business definitely has a substantial percentage of women in the labor force. Of course, Muslim ettiquette and sensitivity prevail just like in the realm of social relations.
Alright this is a good thing that people over there are more open to this kind of culture where muslim women are allowed to move out freely and they can take up jobs.In one of the muslim countries I read long time back that a woman journalist was killed as she was not supposed to opt for the job she had taken up.

i think that the working culture of women in an Islam country or city is also quite strict when it comes to their working clothes. and that is to avoid sexual exploitations.
