Are you aware of the fact that gulf is the place where air conditioning of the houses was done during the primitive days,in the houses made out of stones and clay.As the place remains hot most of the time,people used to make wind towers in their houses which is supposed to be earliest form of air conditioning. Wow isn't this cool!!
That is a very interesting fact, I did not know that. Thank you for sharing that with us sanju. Another thing about the old houses is that the windows were on top, closer to the ceiling, rather than in the middle of the walls. I think this was in other countries as well but not completely sure. This was done to circulate air better and to keep people from looking into the house from outside as this was considered extremely rude.
Nothing beats the modern air conditioning notwithstanding the high price of oil. Commerce and business will come to standstill if there are no air-conditioning system especially in such hot places as Dubai.
