Is this place open to all kind of TV programs, are all the channels being aired in Dubai.I have heard that they are very strict with these norms and very limited channels are allowed to show their programs over here.
They have all sorts of channels being aired. They have their local channels, but dish antennaes are quite popular as there are people living there from all over the world so they have channels from say countries like India and Pakistan, they also have channels from Asian countries like China and Philippenes, and they also have channels from the States. But these aren't readily available.
Dubai has a wide range of channels to choose from satellite tvs; the situation is very simliar to India where even the poorest household has a satellite dish. As a business hub, all the international channels such as CNN and BBC are readily available.
