Are both sexes freely mixing in schools and colleges.
Are the youngsters allowed to mix freely with each other vis a vis opposite sex.I am under the impression that the educational institutes are quite strict as to the interaction of boys with girls and vice versa.I wish I am wrong and now with time the scenario must be normal or what else?
I think in the public schools they are separate as they are still run under the government. Usually in these cases they are not necessarily separate but rather they have different schools as in boys schools and girls schools, which happens in many countries. But there are many private institutions which usually provide a better education and these usually have free mixing.
Yes most of the countries have this system of co-educational as well as separate schools for boys and girls. But mixing of both the genders is not a taboo in most of them.It is a healthier way of education.
It is considered to be healthy education in either way depending on the way you look at it. One perspective is that with both sexes mixing you get more interaction and in turn you get to see other perspectives on things. Another may be that there is more distraction when there is free mixing, and this in turn can result in an education that was not up to its maximum potential. I don't know much about it as I was never in a segregated school.
