Are the general people living in dubai open to the concept of dating.I have the notion that the parents and the government are very strict against this concept. If it is not allowed still,it must be very tough for the younger generation and how are they coping up with it?If the culture is catching on then how are the reactions of the general public?
You must realize that a lot of the people in Dubai are not arabs or muslims. As such, they are open to dating an dating. And since they live there, I consider them locals. But if you are talking about the arab people, they are dating but they do not do it openly.
We actually form our opinions from what we read in books watch in movies or see on net.If dating is common their amongst the outsiders, are they allowed to move around openly, they are not the harassed lot,I suppose.
That is true, we do get a lot of our opinions from the media. A lot of it, although it can sound like its a stereotype, it is somewhat true at times. But it is hard to make a clear cut statement based on these facts as there are always exceptions and you can't judge a whole population based on few incidents.
Yes you can't just pass a judgment based on few reviews given in papers or magazines. But you can easily make out the general approach of people regarding certain issues.
Sanju, I agree with you, you cannot just pass a judgement based on reviews given in papers and magazines. You can generalize in some circumstances, that is true, but you must be careful as not to generalize too much as this may cause you to be oblivious to certain other things that you would not notice. It is better to hold off judgement until you can decide for yourself.
