I thought I might start something new in this discussion. What different kinds of birds do you see in Dubai. I know its extremely polluted and you may not find too many varieties. But if you go to the outskirts you can probably find some cool ones if you are lucky. What do you guys think?

Well never been to Dubai so far so not have the exact idea of the bird life over there at present, but you have thought of something really interesting and amusing.Is it really a polluted city to that extent that birds are supposed to be on the outskirts of the city.

May to August is the best time of year for migrant birds, but most birds come when the heat is more bearable from October to April.

The crab plover, white-collared kingfisher and the grey hypocolius are among 200 or so species of birds you can see on a bird watching trip.
