Ski Dubai is the world's third largest indoor ski slope. The resort has around 22,500 square meters of indoor ski area, all covered with real snow all year round. The longest ski slope here is 400 meters and in all the resort uses over 6000 tons of snow. It was really a great experience for me to learn skiing and snowboarding here in this resort. Don't forget to visit this when you next visit Dubai, You would thank me later .
Thanks for the info.I will be visiting the resort for sure as I find skiing real thrilling,but have never tried to learn it.I have heard that carelessness can be fatal while skiing.
Wow, I did not even know they had a Ski Dubai resort. That is insane. It is hard to imagine a ski resort in the middle of the desert, which is pretty much what the land that Dubai sits on is. The cost to maintain it must be ridiculous. And here Dubai has managed to set another record of being one of the world's largest indoor ski slopes. These guys just don't stop.
That's crazy! I have never even heard of an indoor ski resort like this! Where I live, if it's cold enough with no snow, the local ski places can create their own snow, but I never thought an entire resort could be created in the middle of the desert! I would definitely make it a point to go there if I end up in Dubai.
I could never imagine a place like Dubai having ski slopes, and to be on the top three for the biggest ski slope indoor, it is quite an accomplishment. I think it is evident that they are perfectionists and they end up at the top in whatever industry they decide to tackle, even if it is not favoured under natural circumstances.
That in a way is the beauty and curse of Dubai - twisting nature to suit human beings which is great for development but kind of strange and surreal to be able to snow ski in a desert land.
