What kind of engineering and medical colleges are there in Dubai?What do you think of this business of setting up a private eng. or medical college which should be state of the art for the local students,mainly?This may be a great business opportunity,cause in my country this is the most popular business these days.Further it is quite a service for the general public seeking admissions abroad.

I don't think there are any engineering or medical colleges in Dubai. Everyone I know there pretty much goes to Canada or america to complete their undergrad and graduate studies. The education system in dubai is limited in that sense. Everyone pretty much goes overseas for a period of time to specialize in whatever they want to and then returns to Dubai to get the job.

It would be a great idea to set up some kind of secondary education system in Dubai, but I think it would be very hard to establish and get off the ground. It takes many years for any kind of college to become respected in the industries it serves. Plus, you need to find the best professionals to teach in the education environment you provide. It would defnitely not be an easy undertaking.

i think Dubai is great and they should focus more on education. there are a lot of people from other countries who are working in Dubai as engineers and health care providers, maybe because Dubai has less professionals or workers in those fields.
