ghuraba_t has a point, BUT... as a Web Developer myself, I find that just because work in this field can be outsourced, doesn't mean it always work out smoothly.
Companies always look for locals first because they can deal with products in person, make phone calls locally, and make a smooth transaction.
I started my own business in Florida and found that people came back to me over and over after dealing with over-seas people because of time difference, laziness, miscommunication, etc.
So keep your head high and hit up the local companies, otherwise I will and take your business away from you lol j/k
