Post How to start a business in Dubai?

To start a business in any country you have to undergo some procedures. Dubai is no exception to this. Here I want to share some important points with you that I know regarding starting a business in Dubai.

According to the laws of Dubai, you are required to have a local business partner that holds the majority interest in the proposed company. It can be either an individual or a company. The partner is not required to financially support the business but as the partner holds the majority interest in the business, he/it can control the business.

Then you will need to register your business. Later you will have to show proof of enough financial resources to start your business to the Ministry of Commerce. For that you need to deposit anything from $10,000 to $50,000 depending on your business (it varies from business to business, the maximum may even exceed). However, you can withdraw the amount once you have shown them that have it.

That's all I know. Can anybody share more information?
